J. David Watson is a senior partner and founding member of the firm. He has appeared on behalf of Union, Trust Funds, associations and individuals before a wide array of tribunals and courts including federal and provincial labour relations boards, boards of arbitration, the Workplace Safety Insurance Board and Workplace Safety Insurance Appeal Tribunal. David has represented clients before the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada.

David has a wide ranging experience in labour relations law and particular expertise in the specialized are of construction labour relations. He has appeared in hundreds of cases before labour boards. In addition to labour relations, David provides expeditious and creative advocacy in the areas of civil litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency, trusts and liens, professional regulation and administrative law. He provides educational and seminar services to clients and the legal community. David has spent over 25 years in practice setting precedents and blazing trails for his clients with strategic and successful advice and representation.
