James Craig is an associate lawyer with the firm. His practice areas include workplace law, human rights, and administrative law, with an emphasis on representing the interests of workers and trade unions.


Prior to joining Watson Jacobs McCreary LLP in 2017, James worked as a litigator at one of Canada’s largest national labour unions, and served on the Board of Directors of an Ontario public sector union. He has advocated on behalf of his clients before private labour arbitrators, the Public Service Labour Relations and Employment Board, and Small Claims Court. James is a skilled negotiator, having obtained numerous settlements on behalf of his various clients, and represented workers at mediations at the Ontario Labour Relations Board.


James was called to the bar in 2015. He completed his J.D. with a specialization in the Labour & Employment Law Program at Osgoode Hall Law School, and received his Bachelor of Arts from McGill University.
